HELMET SAFETY TIPS

Bicycle Helmet Safety

• Make sure your helmet has been approved by either ANSI, ASTM, or SNELL
• Your helmet should fit well and feel comfortable
• A helmet should sit on top of your head in a level position.
• Use the pads provided with the helmet to properly size the helmet so it does not rock back and forth or from side to side.
• The straps should be adjusted so that the "V" in the strap fits just below your ear.
• ALWAYS fasten the strap when you wear your helmet.
• Wear your helmet EVERYTIME you drive your bike.
